Dual Gun Capability
The Commander’s dual gun capability means you can keep the standard single-sided gun and pneumatic-assisted X-gun connected simultaneously so that both guns are immediately available for use. Plus, their relevant welding programs are automatically recalled from the system’s memory to save time and help you avoid errors. With both guns available to use at any time and the correct welding programs conveniently stored in memory, you’ll enjoy flexibility in your work and maximize your productivity.
In addition, the Commander’s standard single-sided gun and pneumatic-assisted X-gun are built for maneuverability and ease of access to the vehicle’s interior, so they handle many of your welding needs. For welding boron steel, add our optional C-gun, which delivers 38% greater squeeze pressure at the tips. When you own all three guns, you’ll enjoy the complete package for producing factory-quality spot welds.
Advanced Water Cooling
The consistent production of high-quality welds requires efficient cooling, and nobody provides better cooling systems than Commander. The Commander features closed-circuit water cooling of the inverter power supply, power cables, arms, and electrodes. The cooling of these many components not only makes you more comfortable while welding, but also assures that maximum power is always available at the weld point between the electrodes.
Enormous Welding Power
The Commander produces 9,000 amps of welding current at the electrodes. This enormous welding current is generated with low amp draw and high efficiency by the Commander’s internal inverter technology. This same technology minimizes the heat-affected area, reduces the risk of porosity, and eliminates defects due to fluctuations in the power supply. The bottom line is this: You’ll make quicker, more consistent, and higher-quality welds with the Commander.
